by fromNOT up to LG standards I was planning on using these toe covers for commuting to school in the cold, wet DC winters. So, I decided to try them out today, a mild, dry day. My bike is about 1-1.5 miles, all on paved roads. I wore my smallest tennis shoes to make sure not to stretch the covers too far. Even with these precautions, when I got to school and took them off, the stitching on one had come almost completely undone. Yes, you read that correctly: these things fell apart after ONE 1.5 mile commute. I have some other LG items, and they seem to be of much higher quality than these pieces of junk, so maybe it's a quality control issue. You can bet they are going back and I'll be getting some booties instead of toe covers.

by fromFinally found a toe cover that fits I wear mountain bike shoes for road biking because they are easier to walk around in. But toe covers are not made for fitting over mtn bike shoes. I have big feet, so I wear big shoes. If I can get most toe covers on the shoe at all, they either pop off or slide off. These, however, not only fit over the shoe with relative ease, but they go around the heel of the shoe to keep them from coming off accidentally. I have only tried them on and haven't actually used them yet, so can't speak to performance.

by fromGreat Product Welcome to the world of the internet where everyone has an opinion. The first reviewer hated this product and would not recommend it. I love this product and would highly recommended it. These are perfect for me here in dry Southern California. It rarely get's below freezing here (and when it does I'm generally not riding). I really don't need much more than some basic wind protection and these do the job perfectly. If you use the product as it was intended to be used they are great. They are not going to keep your feet dry or insulated. They will keep the wind off your feet. I have thousands of mile of use with mine and they are holding up great. I even had to hike across a large snow drift in the mountains with them and they are no worse for the wear.
