        best gift ever. i love this hat. very warm. the combination of wool and fleece is awesome. you can't beat it. how can 1000s of sherpas be wrong. its great when i use it in j.tree in tht cold AM. love it, wear it, buy it.

          This is an awesome hat. I have owned mine for two years now (this coming winter will make three). It is very warm & comfortable due to the fleece lining. I wear mine for skiing & hiking or anytime I'm out in the cold weather. I'm thinking about buying a second one in case this one ever wears out but so far it shows no sign of aging. I wash it in woolite on the handwash setting & air dry flat. It comes out looking new every time. Bottom line, if you're thinking about buying a new winter hat, stop looking & buy this one. You won't regret it.

            I lost another REI hat, and needed something warm. I saw this on the web site, and ordered one. A real bargain! It is very warm, comfortable, and looks nice. I really like that it was knitted by a collective of Nepalese women and sold through free trade practices. I might get more in other colors, if available, or as gifts for the next holiday season.
