      Comments about Mountainsmith Dog Pack - Large:

      Comparable price to other dog packs. I bought the large pack for my 115# St.Bernard. #1 The strap that goes across the front was to low. I feared the strap would rub on her shoulders. #2 There is no adjustment for how low or high the pack sets of each side. #3 There is not a strap between the dogs front legs to connect the front strap to the first belly strap to keep the pack from falling off to one side, like Ruff Wear has.

      This pack might be good for a short walks around the neighbor hood or other short walks. I would not use this pack on my dog for long hiking trips due to a poor fit. I would not use a poor fitting pack, and neither will my best friend.

      The pack looks to be well made, and I am sorry that it does not fit my Saint well. Maybe other size dogs will fit other size packs better. The pack was returned for different band pack.
