      Comments about REI Lightweight Fleece Pants - Girls':

      We bought these for our daughter to replace some that were stolen with our tandem bike. She wore her former REI fleece pants extensively for fall/winter/spring biking and soccer. This new model has too wide of an ankle---they get caught in the bike chain and cause a tripping hazard when running. They might be fine for under snow pants or around the house, but not as active Seattle fall/winter/spring outerwear. Darn!
