by fromReturned -2 holes after 3 days wear! Beautiful color and very lightweight but I returned it to REI after wearing it for only 3 days (just to the grocery store). There were 2 places where the down is poking out of the material, it's just too flimsy I suppose. Totally unacceptable when we have other much older down jackets that have shown none of this wear until after many years of wear. Your bad, Patagonia, I just lost a lot of confidence in your brand! PS I chose this as an item on a gift card.

by fromFine with 6 layers underneath I returned the jacket as it was NOT warm at all. In 40 degree weather I was only warm with my Mountain Hardware fleece underneath and 3-5 other layers. A lightweight jacket, but not for cold weather.

by fromDefinitely just a sweater I ordered this "coat" online and knew as soon as I opened the package it would be going back. This is a very light coat and I can't imagine it would even keep me warm in 50 degree weather. I am 5'0" and 98 pounds and wear an xs in just about everything. This coat is huge for the size! The sleeves are about 2 inches too long and I could fit at least three thick sweaters or sweatshirts under this coat. I ordered the blue and it is a really pretty color but that is about the only good thing I have to say about it. This light coat is definitely not worth the [$] price tag.

by fromWhite Not Right Followed washing instructions. Down lumped and shows through the white fabric...looks dirty grey. I have a green and a blue jacket that are great. I love these jackets. The white fabric is too thin and down shows through. Remove washing instructions and say dry clean only. White jacket is not recommended unless heavier fabric is used.

by fromMore of a fashion statement Used this on an 8 day backpack trip in the sierras. Jacket fits great and definitely stylish but not as warm as I would have expected. Used it over baselayer and fleece and was still cold. Upon returning it to store was told by sales staff that jacket is more for fashion statement than warmth.

by fromFragile The jacket tore at the bottom seam 3 days after puchase. I'm a big girl so it never really fit right, very tight across the chest. If you have a large chest try it on before you buy it. I wear a 14 and could barely zip up the XL. Very nice for people with thinner frames.

by froma sheepish complaint I love patagonia's gear and have wanted one of these for years. But I have been really disappointed in the ripstop shell. I have little puffs of down coming out in all kinds of places and I have only used the jacket casually. I bought it for backpacking and climbing, but I'm just not pleased with the shell.

by fromWarm, cozy. Not for wind and rain This is a warm and cozy jacket. I like how light it is and how it comes down to a little ball, which is easy to pack. At time of purchase I knew it was not waterproof, so I always bring my waterproof shell when I use this. They're both light and usually do the job for snowshoeing trips. Used in trips in the San Bernardino mountains and the Sierras. Coldest I've had was low 30's. You do need to be careful with the zippers - I'm always afraid they might rip the fabric. I've mine for two years and I plan to keep it for years to come.
