Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sub-Zero Down Parka - Women's:
I bought this jacket primarily for Minnesota winter walking with my dog! Wanted a warm jacket with a hood that I could pull on at any moment. Decided it fit so nicely and was so soft to wear that I will use it for casual wear as well. Bought the SL version to compare but did not like the way the SL version hood was so bulky or how difficult it was to zip the SL version. This jacket slips on so easy and zips like a breeze. So far I have tested it at 15 degress with a wind, and expect it to work quite well below that.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sub-Zero Down Parka - Women's:
The coat was purchased for my wife. It was super warm, and fit great. She loves the coat, but the shell has not lasted very long at all. It has been worn for only a few months, just walking around, riding in car, etc. No adventuring or winter sports in the coat, just walking around, and the shell is covered in little spots where the material has caught and pulled a little. Not very durable at all for a Mountain Hardware product, especially when it costs what it does. Like I said, warmth and fit was there, but shell quality was severely lacking.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Sub-Zero Down Parka - Women's:
I loved the look and feel of this jacket, but unfortunately it was too big. I'm 5'6" and 140 lbs (smaller on top) and a medium was much too large through the chest area. It has lots of nice details and seemed cozy, so I was really disappointed.
