The Black Diamond Guide gloves are built to keep hands comfortable during the coldest days of winter.

  • Waterproof, highly breathable Gore-Tex® XCR® inserts keep your hands dependably dry and comfortable
  • Removable wool liner is backed with PrimaLoft® One insulation for supreme warmth in cold weather
  • Fleece palm lining supplies additional insulation
  • Goat leather palm provides excellent grip of ski equipment
  • Soft fabric on the thumb gives you a gentle place to wipe your cold nose
  • Long gauntlet cuff with shockcord adjustment helps you seal out cold air and snow

    I have owned these gloves for a year and they are the best winter gloves I have ever owned. Originally I bought them for skiing, but I wear them any time I go out in the extreme cold. I consistently spend time outside in temps on either side of zero degrees F and they never let me down. They are warm and dry. If need be I can tuck my thumb in with the rest of fingers. Worth the money if you are outside a lot. If you are skiing in 25+ degrees they may be a bit too warm, so bring a lighter pair of gloves for as the day wears on.

    Comments about Black Diamond Guide Gloves:

    I got these as a gift for winter hiking. They are certainly waterproof but are not windproof. They are okay for xc sking or snowshoeing though the grip is bulky in feel. They are not good for hiking and in if the temp is much below 32 you can expect to feel the cold.
