      Great product outperformed my expectations. Lid snaps securely onto a standard 5-gallon bucket. Bucket takes up room in vehicle, but I use a garbage bag inside (snap lid over draped edge of bag) so waste can be neatly disposed of and bucket used to pack gear in. Use kitty litter inside to absorb waste and smell - virtually no smell with it 2 feet from my sleeping bag in tent! I'm large (6-ft, 240 lbs) and it felt completely sturdy and secure. (Wiping after #2 a bit difficult due to lid - you figure out a way that works for you!) With lid closed, it gives you someplace to sit to put on your socks/shoes, and/or for glasses, flashlight and clock while you sleep. So convenient to not have to make the trek in the middle of the night... Highly recommend!

        I live in a yurt with no flushing toilet. The bucket lid is great for a daily sustainable alternative toilet. If you compost or use urine for garden application, this is great too. just use water in the bottom. When lid is closed there is no smell. My 3 year old grandson used it easily and it works for adults too. A great product!!! Everyone should have at least one!
