Great jacket! I noticed that the fur was getting matted down by my seat belt. I went to the Mountain Hardware website and saw they had care instructions. No kidding - they say you have to "brush your monkey" to keep the fur like new. Just thought I'd share that info. Enjoy!

I wear this all the time in Colorado. It is the warmest fleece I own (and I have quite a few). Sometimes it is too warm to wear as a layer while snowboarding. Great for wearing around town.
It does get matted, but a trip thru the washer gets it back to normal. (Usually it's dirty and that is why it mats.)
I am tall and the sleeves are long enough. The torso is long enough, too. I am 5'10" and 160#. I have an XL and it fits great. (I like my clothes a little baggy and it's perfect.)
I bought the green one and have been told it looks like I skinned Oscar the Grouch to make my jacket. I suppose I have weird friends!

This jacket has no inner underarm fabric to prevent strange odors. Even though I did not exercise in this jacket, I could detect an unpleasant odor, just from the fur interacting with my minimal sweat. Careful about what color you get because of the "fuzz" factor - it does come off on your clothing. Also, for the price it should have a hood. I returned this jacket and found a more versatile one that breathes.

I was hesitant to drop a lot of money on this jacket but i've gotten my money out of it already in just a few weeks! I love this jacket! It's so soft and i've been able to wear it casually or camping. It' durable....no damage even when taking a spill when hiking. I find myself wearing all the time. I may have to invest in other colors!

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I couldn't help myself with this one. I bought this jacket looking for something incredibly warm and cozy and it does not disappoint. This is definitely the warmest jacket I own. It's warmer than some of the down jackets. Hard to believe, I know. I'm always cold but with this, I'm nice and snuggly. It's great for a "grab and go" type of clothing for running errands or walking the dog. It's also nice in outdoor conditions too. I recently took it with me on a spring camping trip to Yosemite where the temperatures were dropping to the 30s at night. I wore this all day long and event slept with it on some nights. Looking back, it probably kept me from having a miserably cold camping experience. I enjoy this jacket so much, I'm tempted to by another one just for fun! Don't be afraid to wash it. Just follow the directions and it's easy peasy.

Love this jacket. I wish I had read some more reviews, I may have gotten a larger size. My household likes the cooler side of the thermostat so this jacket is perfect both indoors and outdoors! It is more comfortable than a sweatshirt and the neck has the fur lining as well, so its great to tuck yourself into against the wind!

I use this jacket as an everyday layer and it's never let me down. It does require some care, a wash every now and then followed by a brushing with a soft bristled brush, but I don't mind caring for my gear. It's warmer than I expected it to be and so cozy, I rarely take it off. I like that it doesn't have a hood and I've never had any problems with the weird odors other reviewers mentioned. I thought the price was right compared to other fleeces of its weight, and I would highly recommend it.

I am 6 feet tall female, 165#, long arms, broad shoulders, slim...this jacket fits great. I bought the black XL and the sleeves and body are nice and long. The waist is not tight in the XL but still slimming. The large was just not quite long enough for me so went with xl, glad I did! So comfortable, washes/drys great, lays perfect when on, nice and smooth, roomy enough to be comfortable in all situations. Get many compliments.

I liked the looks of this jacket and it was warm. However I wore it several times skiing and each time the sleeves twisted and rode up my arms under my ski jacket. Also the stretchy material started pilling after wearing it only a few times. I ended up returning it and will look for a different brand fleece mid-layer.
