Comments about Outside Baby Little School Bag Backpack - Kids':
The bag is well made and colorful for children to be easily spotted (I had the red/yellow ones). However, on my twin boys, they were a little too big. The body of the bag was too wide and square for my 24-month olds who are tall and slender for their age. If you have children who are bigger sized, or older, like 3 or 4 years old on, this might be a more suitable bag for them. It is square and wide so you can supposedly fit school folders in them. The main thing that bothered me about this bag were the straps. This might be a little hard to explain. While they are well-padded, it has this extra loop at the top of where the straps begin, and results in a small space between the child's neck and the back of the backpack. This makes it awkward and something just isn't right with the way they designed it. I can see that if the bag was heavier and the child bigger, the straps would be longer and this might not be an issue, but for me it was. I will try to post some pictures of the said problem.Meanwhile, I do recommend the other "Outside Baby" backpack:[@]. Now this one fits my boys perfectly! The width, and height of the bag is good. The straps are normal. And, it includes a chest and hip straps which is essential, I believe, when you have wild toddlers that run around amok. Last thing you want is their backpacks falling off and them tripping on it. Price wise, it's a little more to pay than what you would if you were to go to Target and buy a Dora The Explorer backpack or SpongeBob etc. I think it's worth the money though. One thing I hate about cheap backpacks, the plastic vinyl eventually falls apart and the straps are always badly made and not well padded. These bags should last a very long time and be comfortable for your kids. Doggone it, my boys better be using these bags in college! :)So yes, I recommend if you like the style and have older children. And no, I don't recommend for toddlers or smaller children.

We got this bag for our 3 1/2 year old. It fits her perfectly and she loves it (even though it's blue). She puts stuff animals, books, clothes and any knick knack she finds in it. The 2 side packets are nice for smaller things.
The zipper is hard to use for a 3 1/2 year old though, it's not very smooth. Either her brother (5) or we have to help her with it.
I'd say if you don't mind helping with the zipper, it's a nice bag for little ones. If you have an independent child who wants to do everything themselves, then maybe it won't work so well.

This bag is a great size. There is enough space to put a lunch box in the bottom, a folder pocket along the back, and enough room still to fold up a sweatshirt and place on top. Side pockets are nice too. I like the shoulder straps since they distribute weight across my sons back. Dont want him to have the problems that his Dad has now!
