Being 6-5, 220lbs, the 11' Laird was a bit tippy. I'd recommend the 12' for folks my size or larger. In flat water when I wasn't struggling to stay upright, the board was fast and responsive as most Surftech boards are. The handle made for easier carrying and the overall board weight feel lighter than most boards its size..
