    Comments about Esquif Avalon Canoe:

    We bought this canoe to trip out of. It is quite rugged and the hull has withstood many scrapes with river obstacles. It is quite manueverable and tracks well. The sliding bow seat is a plus, allowing for adjustment for different paddlers. It is easy to portage, however I would recommend two screws to attach the yoke instead of one as it has loosened up over time.
