The North Face Lightweight XTC Crew shirt combines bamboo-derived charcoal with polyester to create a high-performance base layer suitable for a wide range of cool-weather activities.

  • Polyester and bamboo charcoal polyester blend offers moisture-, odor- and UV-management using natural means instead of chemicals
  • Polyester yarns are embedded with charcoal from carbonized bamboo; the highly porous nature of carbon helps wick and disperse moisture to dry quickly
  • Bamboo is a highly renewable resource that is easily grown without fertilizers and pesticides
  • Bamboo charcoal naturally removes odor and particles from fabric—just like your water filter—and won't wash out
  • Naturally UV-resistant fabric with a UPF 30 rating shields skin from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays
  • Droptail hem offers increased coverage for active sports
  • Gusseted underarms allow a full range of motion without binding
  • Flatseam construction is soft and non-chafing next to skin
