roomy fit for layers on chilly days.Truly in my opinion the best quality in-between season fleece
jacket.So absolutely versatile even in cold weather under a rain cover.Or a chilly night in the San Juan's.

This is one jacket I use constantly throughout every season of the year. I mainly use it for a casual wear when the weather gets a little nippy, but I've also worn it as an underlayer when I went hiking in Yosemite in December and it worked fine under my softshell.

I'm 5'9 and 165 and it feels comfortable. Not too snug, not too big. It feels just right with a baselayer underneath and also with a outerlayer if the conditions call for it.

It's pretty warm till about 50 degrees, but below that, it doesn't provide much warmth. Especially if there's wind, since this jacket does not provide any wind protection...

I actually caught this item on sale a couple of years ago. I bought it to layer underneath a TNF Gortex "summit-series". Could not work any better when used in tandem with an outer shell! I used it as a stand alone on an outer mountain loop (Big Bend National Park) trip and it did nothing to slow down a rather sharp and cutting early morning wind. When the wind died down I was as snug as a bug in a rug. For the price asked and especially for the price I paid it was a faithful and dependable purchase with the exception of the absence of wind stoppage.

I am 150 Lbs, 5'10". This product fits good in the chest (42"). Good product on chilly days. Ordered a asphalt grey color but looks more like olive green to me.

I bought this over the phone from a local REI store thinking it was the KHUMBU model that I had tried on a few days prior. After wearing it for a few days I am ready to take it back. It is comfortable and pretty warm but the fleece sheds little balls of fleece constantly. I am going to take this back and I have already purchased the KHUMBU model. In my opinion it is a far superior product. The KHUMBU is better fleece material, warmer, more comfortable, etc.. The only thing I liked better was the black is a lot darker on this model because of the material.
