  • Lightweight 7005 aluminum frame features a 1-piece magnesium rocker for excellent stiffness throughout the rear travel arc
  • 120mm of travel of the RockShox Dart 2 suspension fork eats up gnarly trails; TurnKey™ lockout is simple and easy to use
  • RockShox Bar 2.1 rear shock with rebound adjustment supplies platform damping for improved efficiency and bump control
  • Drivetrain features FSA Alpha Drive cranks, Shimano LX rear derailleur and Deore front derailleur and shifters for quick shifts through the 27 gears
  • Shimano M486 hydraulic disc brakes supply reliable stopping power, even in muddy and wet conditions
  • Wheelset is comprised of Alex ACE-18 rims, Formula/Shimano hubs and Maxxis Ignitor tires for smooth-rolling traction on the trail
  • Cockpit is dressed up with Kona XC/BC stem, handlebar and seatpost and topped with a WTB Rocket V Comp saddle

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
