I bought the beanie so I could keep my head warm while I go bike riding. I mostly ride trails and go at a pretty good pace. After wearing the beanie for a few trips I found that the beanie left my ears exposed to the wind (I hear a whistling sound). Maybe I have a big head?? Other than the wind I liked the snug fit, the lightweight, and it was warm even after a light shower. A bit high for a wool cap, but it works well enough.
