Comments about The North Face Tholu Khumbu Collection Pack:

This pack is identical to the north face recon pack (which is cheaper) outside of the changed color scheme. Compare them yourself at the store.

The laptop pocket that doubles as a water reservoir holder is great. The front pocket is perfect for storing a fleece or a light rain jacket for quick access; an adventurer's must.

There are straps on the bottom of the pack that could hold trekking poles, a tripod or even a sleeping pad. The padding is also great.

If you need a versatile backpack to use for day trips or for school, it's perfect. I did a lot of comparison shopping and am very satisfied.
