Comments about MSR Exo 2 System Cookset:

I purchased this package, trying to shave off a few ounces from my pack, for trips where there are more than 2 of us. I like the design of the pot, it is definately big enough for group use. However, the cups are HEAVY there is no point in buying titanium if you are going to lug along the cups. Not only are they heavy, but they feel cheap. The bowls are OK but overall, the package just didnt work for us. I am sending it all back and getting something else.

Comments about MSR Exo 2 System Cookset:

I personally think this is one of the best, most well-thought out pot systems available as well as extremely lightweight. Not sure what the other guy is talking about but these cups are awesome-actually more LIGHTWEIGHT that the same sized titanium double walled mugs according to my postal scale and not to mention, you get the entire set including titanium pot and pan for what it would cost to buy 2 double walled titanium mugs, so decent value as well. Love it. Worth the $-it should last a lifetime.

Comments about MSR Exo 2 System Cookset:

I've used this set on two trips so far this summer. My friend and I both agree that it's one of the best cook sets we've ever used. It's lightwieght and compact for having almost everything two people need to cook meals on the trail. The deep dish plates are great for everything from oatmeal to grilled trout. The cups keep your coffee hot and wiegh 4 oz. each, which is slightly lighter than a double wall titanium mug. There is also enough room inside the pot to hold a compact stove and some collapsable utensils. I would definitely recommend.
