It's like the fit model has a big butt and skinny legs!
I purchased a large, and while it fit OK across my fanny, it was tight at the leg openings. The fabric didn't feel like it would move well; I don't think I would recommend for physical activities.
My husband purchased the briefs for men, he experienced the same fit problems.

If I wanted to climb a mountain with my bum only half covered by a pair of underwear, these are the ones I'd go with! Seriously. I ordered an XL. I usually wear a large. I got to wondering if I had mistakenly ordered girls sizing. Nope. Women's XL. Definitely not made for an athletic woman. Not sure who these would fit as an XL!

These state that they are briefs and where they fit my girth, they sure didn't come up high enough. I'm not into any granny panties, but these were like half hipsters! They didn't even come up over my hip bone. I have other Gordini briefs that fit great and don't ride up in the same size I ordered - so I don't know what's going on with these!
