Comments about Royal Robbins Global Traveler Pants - Men's 30'' Inseam:
These are a great pair of pants. If you read the reviews for the REI adventure pants, this pants corrects for the flimsy zipper flaw. Material, stitching and zipper are of great quality. The back pockets have velcro closure which I'm not a fan of so I put that as a drawback. Otherwise, a stylish, breathable and comfortable pair of pants for work or travel. I wear these all the time to work at academic research facility where you run into patients sometimes that requires a somewhat professional decor. These pants meet the very minimum if slacks and a shirt is the minimum standard. They are comfortable and airy to walk around all day for coffee runs to lunch break and crossing campus.
As a travel pants, I've used the security pocket to stash my cards and cash. One thing about the security pocket is that it has as much room as the non-secured pocket. Awesome. Plenty of room for valuables. These pants are fast drying as I've had to wash some sauce off in my hotel room. (Sorry I went for some steaks in Texas.) Dried within 2 hrs with the bathroom fan on. I didn't attempt to use the blowdryer as they were my only pair of pants at the time. My luggage was delayed and I had to wear these to a conference without looking too casual.
This is the first product I've acquired from Royal Robbins and they did not disappoint. I'd definitely look for other stuff from them.

Comments about Royal Robbins Global Traveler Pants - Men's 30'' Inseam:
These are amazing pants. I originally got them as a pair of "dress slacks" for traveling because they pack down small and hang dry quickly. They are quickly becoming a favorite pants even for work as an alternative to khakis. They are super comfortable and light and easily pass the "business casual" standard. The zip-up security pocket inside the front pocket is great for storing credit cards and cash when traveling. Only minor complaint is that the mesh pockets can catch on items thrown in them. This complaint is tempered though by the advantages to weight and breathability that they provide. Highly recommend and off to buy a second pair.
