Comments about Keen Springwater Bike Shoes - Men's:
This is my first pair of Keen Shoes, I had an old pair of Shimano bike shoes that needed replacing and wasn't really looking for a pair of Keen Shoes but saw them on the display at REI and asked a clerk for a pair in my size (12) and he said they ran small and narrow. I tried them on and they felt fine, true to size and width. They have three velcro straps easy on and easy off. Took them home put on my SPD cleats and off I went for a couple of hours on the bike. Very comfortable shoes. You can wear right our of the box for riding, I did with no problems and when you're ready for coffee, stop and walk around in them. Although they look heavy and clunky they were actually lighter than the Shimanos I replaced. A big plus for me is the good arch support they have. I had to buy "Super Feet" arch supports for Shimanos. Oh, they have reflective heels too which is cool. I like them.

Comments about Keen Springwater Bike Shoes - Men's:
These were expensive, but I love all of my Keen footwear so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. The other guys I ride with paid almost as much and they gripe whenever they have to walk around in their shoes. These are fine to walk in. Although you can feel the cleat, it's less so than with other shoes. They are top notch in comfort and I simply don't notice them when it comes to performance so they must be great. Never had an issue over many miles.

This is my first pair of Keen shoes and
I love them! They are more comfortable than other shoes I have tried. The comfort alone is what made me buy the shoe. The shoe is very well constructed and will last a lifetime. They were a little on the expensive side, but quality costs.

Comments about Keen Springwater Bike Shoes - Men's:
I'm starting to collect the gear that will come along for a planned trans am bike ride in 2010. While researching for a multi-purpose bike/hike shoe, I discovered Keen's Springwater.
At first, I wasn't "keen" on the velcro fasteners, but after thinking about the times I will be putting them on in the early morning of a 75-100 mile ride that awaits, I soon became a fan simply due to the ease + no laces will come undone and find their way to my chain/crank.
I've been riding with them instead of my bike shoes simply because they are more comfortable. While walking around my stride is not compromised and seldom do I hear the spd cleat reminding me that it's there.
Worth every penny!
