    My girlfriend realized half way to Roan Mountain that she forgot the old Leki Super Makalus she had been borrowing from me. So we stopped to get a pair of poles and found these. She's about 5'5" and absolutely loved them for our 20 mile trip. She (nor I) realized what a difference a smaller grip would make for smaller hand. She now says my poles feel large and heavy. Like any Leki they seemed bomb-proof and I even did a mile or so just to test them. Noticeably less swing weight. My son also swapped out for a while and said he really liked them, but wasn't so keen on the flower design. Highly recommended for small pawed backpackers.

    I love the light weight nature and easy grips on this woman's model sticks. However at 6ft tall I have them at max extension.
