The rugged Metolius Ropemaster rope bag protects your rope from the damaging effects of dirt, sun and moisture.

  • Features a large 5 ft. x 4 ft. tarp with an easy-load pocket that controls the rope while packing it up; pocket is sized to hold up to a 70m rope
  • To stow your rope, simply flake it onto the tarp, stuff it into the easy-load pocket, fold the sides of the tarp in, roll it up and stuff it into the bag
  • Tarp also provides a handy groundsheet for booting up or stretching before a climb
  • Durable plastic window lets you see into the bag and identify which rope is stowed
  • Built-in compression straps with unbreakable aluminum buckles let you cinch the load down
  • Padded carry strap offers easy transport

Great rope bag, love the large tarp area, not a fan of the draw string mechanism binding up every time I close the bag up.

Would love to see someone come out with a rope bag that is this minimalist, but still has backpack style carry straps.
