      These flip-flops are probably the most comfortable pair I have ever tried on. The foot bed is cushioned but firm and provides excellent arch support. They do not become slippery when they get wet (a problem I have experienced with other brands). The neutral brown colors make them great at casual events, as well as, by the poolside or beach front. I have worn mine through an entire vacation, from the plane to the beach, and from the hotel to the restaurant. These flip-flops do it all. The nylon toe strap may take a day or two to break in, but I did not even notice it after the first half hour.

        I lived in San Diego for about 7 years and wore a lot of different flip flops, but these are by far the best I've ever worn. They're extremely comfortable, look good in jeans or shorts or slacks or whatever (provided the weather is appropriate, of course.) I've had my pair for about two years now and the only wear they show is on the leading edge of the toe, otherwise solid. I have walked miles and miles in these on concrete and nary a whimper from my feet! Yes, they are expensive, but in this case worth every penny. The only con: I want to buy more of them.

          I started working in a high-end shoe store a few months ago, and found these to be the most comfortable flip flop available. I bought a pair and wore them for a few days before I made the recommendation to friends of mine. They came in, tried them on, and quickly bought a pair (one friend purchased both the brown and black). These flip flops are amazing! They are comfortable all day, and look great.

            After surgery on my foot for a ruptured ligament(an unusual accident), my surgeon insisted on good arch support and "foot contoured" shoes, etc. to protect his handiwork. I bought a pair of these a year ago and I swear by them. I wear them all day and would wear them all year, if not for the winter season. I plan on buying some additional styles for this upcoming warm weather season. My foot surgeon liked mine so much he bought a pair.
