I bought it specifically for my geocaching sport which I do mainly from my bicycle and also hiking on foot. So I wanted a sturdy bag that not only organizes but provides quick easy access to items when needed, something a back pack can't do but this bag does nicely. Very important to me that the bag can be quickly secured to my back so it does not flop forward when I am bent over riding my bike or bent down searching for caches. This bag does that very well with the adjustable bottom strap. I love the magnetic flap closures, so much faster than buckles! Also this bag has subtle but cute, feminine touches--a little daisy decoration on strap ends, daisy logo on the flap, the print pattern inside the bag, etc. Not gaudy at all, just right! You can't beat the quality, I love how the main strap has two nice brackets at each end that not only release, but swivel too! This bag is a medium bag, not too big or too small. I got the light green color so I sprayed it well with water proofing to help stain proof it, and also add some protection from the rain. It is sturdy yet light. Well worth the money, most good messenger bags are double or more the price. And since it was an '07 model I got it [$] off!
