I bought this waist pack to use while training for a 1/2 marathon. With the yellow stabilizer straps I have been able to eliminate any noticeable bounce from the water bottle. One issue with the waistband is that it tends to ride up over my hips even with the straps adjusted tightly, which could partly be attributed to the somewhat slippery technical t-shirts I wear. The bottle is very secure in its holster, but too secure. While running I need both hands to grab the water bottle, one hand to pull on the bottle and the other to hold the bottom of the holster so the bottle can be pulled out. I normally keep my gels pinned to the waistband of my shorts, so storage is not an issue, although a small mesh elastic pouch could be useful. This is a decent water bottle holster that lives up to its claims of a "no-bounce" system, but its tendency to ride up can be an annoying trade-off.

Tested this on a 6-mile tempo run. Seemed like it was well constructed and wouldn't bounce. I've used two other hydration belts and they bounced too much - a vertical water bottle belt and a camelbak belt. I'm 5'9, 155 lbs, slender/medium build.

Filled the water bottle halfway because it was a short run. Bottle still bounced and belt rode up. Kept fighting and tightening to no avail. Almost tossed the belt but decided to remove the bottle and run with it in my hand instead.

I gave two stars instead of one because: (1) this is the third belt that bounced for me so I'm convinced it's me and not the belts, (2) it seems well constructed, (3) reflective material on the back, and (4) BPA-free water bottle. Other cons: No pockets for gel, cell phone, key, money, etc storage. No reflective material on front.

Like I said, it might work for you. Three belts and two hiking backpacks ride up on me so if you don't have this problem, you might like this belt.
