    Comments about GoLite Hydrospeed Waistpack:

    This is the perfect hydro system for distance and trail running. Your back is open to the air for great airflow. The two pockets are just big enough for a wallet, keys, snack bar, compass, folded map, cell phone, and an emergency rain poncho. The belt is comfortable and stays put around your hips. You do get some sloshing as you drink the bottles down, but that is unavoidable in any bottle based system.

    Decided to make the leap from hydration packs to this 2 bottle hip holster for my long runs. Didn't work out so well - only wore it once. At the beginning of the run, the belt was snug, on top of my hips, but very quickly, it began to work its way loose and start bouncing up and down. The only time it became comfortable to wear was when the bottles were empty.

    I think this pack would be great for fast hikes but, in my opinion, it is unsuitable for running.
