Upon purchase, this bag seemed perfect for carrying passport, credit cards, bit of cash, and any necessities (i.e., hand wipe, tissue, lip gloss, etc.). It is possible that the MAGNET closure on the bag erased hotel key and VISA magnetic strip requiring a VISA replacement while traveling internationally. The cards were placed in the outer zip pocket (closest to the magnet) which is just the right size for credit cards/ID. The bag is designed for carrying all of the above items, has zippers for secure carrying; however, credit cards/hotel keys should not be placed in the outside zipper pocket!
