good for urban daily use
I bought Timbuk2 Metro before this one. Metro is a lot more compact than the messenger. The bag is not big enough for notebooks larger than 9" or 10" but it is big enough to carry a lot of junk if you want. It is a good size for a woman but the strap will not be long eough for men. Also, the strap pad does not come with the black/lavender one but comes with the brown/pink. If you tend to carry a lot in your bag and must carry it for a few hours a day, a pad is a must. REI sells the pads though.
