Comments about Scott SUB 30 Classic Bike - 2009:
Bike commuting to work is a concept I have been throwing around for several years and decided to finally pull the trigger. To appease the wife, I needed to find a bike that wouldn't break the bank but could still perform. The Sub 30 has been great. I have two weeks of commuting (20 miles round trip) on it under the belt and I have no complaints.
I'm 6'2" w/ long legs and the X-large is a great fit. The feel is a little cramped (due to design not size) but it is not a road bike so I kind of expected this. The bike is very nimble and makes riding in traffic downtown a breeze. The 700c wheels roll very well and the drive train gets you up to speed quickly.
If vanity is your thing, I have also received several complements on the bike's aesthetics.
