      This was exactly what I was looking for when I bought it. I like the relatively small size for this handlebar bag, which I actually got for a cross country ride as a map case. I also used it for items I wanted to get to quickly...camera, phone, snack bars, sunblock, etc. However, the map case part of the bag always leaked so I had to put my map in a ziploc every time anyway. As noted by a previous reviewer, the zipper is on the wrong side and if you are not prepared, half the stuff in the bag goes on the ground as you unzip it. It seems backwards. The size is nice as it was a supported ride and I did not need a big handlebar bag. The leaking and the zipper problem was the main drawback, fairly major, in my opinion. But I could not find anything like it that was small enough for the items I can't carry in my jersey or in the rack bag. I loved this bag but there are enough cons not to give it a whole-hearted recommendation.

      Just about the perfect size: Tube, tools, snacks and a small first aid kit will fit. Also I like the mounting location and the map pocket but the zippers are upside-down. When you open it, all your stuff will want to fall out.

        This bag is a nice size and very light, due in part to the lack of padding or support. I like the clear map window and the simplicity. But as other reviewers have noted, the zipper goes round the wrong way--it needs to open along the top rather than along the bottom so you can open it when it is on the bike without everything falling on the ground. A pretty major drawback. I returned it.
