Comments about Vasque Briza GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
I have a very narrow foot and never thought I'd find a hiking boot that would fit properly. This boot paired with a smartwool medium cushion sock is the perfect fit (even for those of us who have one foot that is a full half size lager than the other)!
Headed for Alaska next month with confidence that I won't fracture my ankle this trip!!
Great Boot!!

Comments about Vasque Briza GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
I have used these boots during day hikes and have been pretty satisfied with them. They are not super flexible, but I wanted something that was sturdy and provided good ankle support and traction. My feet are never hot in them, even with the Gore-Tex. I have had some problems with the laces untying during moderate wear though.

Comments about Vasque Briza GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
These boots have a narrow fit which was perfect for me. After sliding around in other boots these fit my feet snugly and comfortably. First tried them out at the Great Sand Dunes, CO. Walked right through the river and up the dunes never got my feet wet. They are warm yet breathable especially when paired with a good pair of wool socks but I also wear them around with regular socks. So far the only downside is that the lace hooks take a couple tries to force the lace into. I also added inserts for arch support. Overall nice light hiking shoe that still provides great support and traction. Great boot overall. Definitely worth the investment.

Love these boots - great for my day hikes, no slippage of my heel or smooshing of my toes - it's so hard to find for my narrow feet but this is the holy grail for me!

Comments about Vasque Briza GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
I purchased these at the beginning of the summer. I wanted a boot that provided ankle support and they seemed to be the best fit out of the boots available at the REI ParkMeadows store due to my very narrow feet (quad A). However, after several hikes (Colorado Trail, several 14ers) they remain uncomfortable. It feels as if there is no cushion between the bottom of my foot and the rocks. I just got back from hiking Windom, Aeolus and Sunlight and after the 2nd day of hiking all of the skin on the balls of my feet peeled off in a giant blister. I've never had issues with blisters in the past.

I expected more comfort for a [$] boot. Have spent an additional $35 for inserts, but no go. [...]

Comments about Vasque Briza GTX Hiking Boots - Women's:
Disappointed in the Gore-Tex aspect of these boots. A short walk through some high wet grass in Maine, and my feet got soaked. An all-day hike in the rain with these boots would be like wearing water sandals.
