I decided to test these out at SeaWorld, since they brag that they dry quickly. After sitting in the "Soak Zone", and finding that it lives up to its title, the shorts kept me relatively dry and dried completely within twenty minutes! This is a nice contrast to the three hours my jeans required last time I went, not to mention the fact that the material didn't seem to care that it was salt water.

The color is a little darker, and more brown than the image shows. I had to explain to my friends that yes, my shorts were purple, no, they weren't brown, seriously, guys. The great thing is that the color is brown enough that you could wear it with any color. I even paired teal with it and didn't get tackled by my fashion police friends.

They were comfortable, but they made that sound nylon makes when rubbed together as I walked. I have a hearing impairment, and I could hear it. However, being dry while my friends still dripped everywhere they walked? I'll endure a little noise for that pleasure.

    The styling and detailing on of these shorts is really nice...the photographs do not do them justice. The stitching and material are excellent quality, as well. The fit is terrific: I am overjoyed to find a size 2 that actually is a size 2! Thank you Arc Teryx.
