      My son received this for his 8th Birthday last week. It's his favorite game to play with the family... we love the multi-levels and cute characters. The fact that it's educational is icing on the cake!

        This game is great for improving your outdoor knowledge. The absolute best thing about this game is that each question card includes four levels of questions, with level 1 being very easy and level 4 being very hard. At the start of the game, you choose your level. Kids usually pick level 1 or 2 depending on their age. Level 1 can be as simple as identifying a specific animal. Adults pick 3 or 4, so you are challenged based on your skill level. A number of the cards have pictures on them, so for really young children, we take out a card with a picture and make up a "Level 0" question such as "Is this a bird or a fish?" - so in this case, the card might show a Bald Eagle and the Level 1 question would be: This is a (A) Falcon (B) Bald Eagle (C) Condor. So basically, this game allows adults to play with very young children and all ranges in between and it is a great challenge for all.

        I was pretty excited when I saw this game in the store. I'm always looking for good trivia games, especially ones that engage children.

        We played it a couple of times as a family. It certainly is child oriented and my little boys just love it. We usually end up playing more than once in one sitting. For adults, however, one quick game per per sitting will probably be enough.

        We have also used it without the board while traveling. It is fun to go over the questions to pass the time but I think the kids prefer moving the pieces on the board as well.

        What was a little annoying to me and the reason why I only gave it four stars was that there were several similar/repeat questions and Fun Facts. (Example: What is a baby goose called? and What is a baby Canadian Goose called? and Fun Fact, Mule deer grow new antlers every year. and Fun Fact The Whitetail deer looses its antlers each winter.) Yes, technically they are different, but after a couple of games, you'll catch on that many of the 400 questions and 100 Fun Facts are the same basic principles repeated using slightly different wording.

        Overall it is a great game for kids who are interested in learning about the outdoors.

          We had high hopes for this game but it turned out to be EXTREMELY boring. Each game only lasts about 5 mins and the game itself is just boring. I'm not sure why the other reviews liked this game but I would take almost anything over this game. Since we bought it, it was only used once. Been collecting dust ever since.
