3-season Attiva GTX waterproof day hiking boots absorb shock and are supportive and stable. Their light weight translates to less leg fatigue than with heavier boots.

  • Water-resistant, high-tenacity nylon uppers with protective suede overlays deliver durable flexibility and support while remaining breathable
  • Seam-sealed Gore-Tex® liners deliver complete waterproof protection while allowing ample breathability for comfort in wet conditions
  • Wicking nylon linings absorb and disperse excess moisture for fast drying
  • Gusseted scree tongues and padded ankle cuffs add protective comfort at ankles; rubber toe bumpers protect against impact and abrasion
  • Removable EVA footbeds cushion feet and are perforated in the forefoot area for added ventilation
  • Lightweight EVA midsoles provide cushioning comfort and shock absorption
  • Asoflex® thermoplastic supports provide torsional stability and control while protecting against impact and bruises on rocks and uneven terrain

    I have so many issues with boots & shoes rubbing blisters and having hot spots - not so with these boots. No breaking in at all. Lightweight, and great for walking in streams. Very comfortable, yet sturdy for ankles. Haven't had long enough to rate durability, but if they are close to the Asolo boots I've had in the past, these will last a long time.

      I am training to hike Kilimanjaro. I had another pair of Asolo boots for 15 years, lots of hiking including the Inca Trail. My feet never hurt. One things these boots have is an amazing 'grip' going down hill. I usually slipped a bit in my old boots but these hold like fly paper. Did I say they really hold going down hill! I have only had them for a few months so can not comment on durability. I do have one concern and that is the toe box may be a little narrow. I sized up 1/2 size and hope that works. After 10 miles up and down hills, they were pretty good but not perfect--a bit of discomfort on the outer toe on one foot--but no blisters or 'hot spots'.
