Comments about Kelty Mistral +0 Sleeping Bag - Regular:
I have owned the Mistral for around 4 years and have been very pleased with it's performance. My only complaints are that it is heavy and bulky. I am looking forward to getting a lighter bag, For the price though, it can't be beat. One November I woke up with the bottom of my bag frozen due to a rain/sleet storm and found myself fairly comfortable in the dry part of my bag. The getting wet was due to my poor planning. I brought along the sleeping bag just in case without a tent or a bivy. I have comfortably car camped with it in the summer and just recently spent 5 days in the wilderness. My wife enjoyed it while I used her [*] sleeping bag with a busted zipper. After lugging the 6lb monster uphill I got the satisfaction of ensuring my wife's comfort. She slept like a rock.It is extremely roomy (I have the long version)and comfy as all get out and I would definately recommend it to those who are on a slim budget. You won't be dissapointed by it's performance.
