The lightweight Isis Torrent jacket will keep you high and dry no matter how low the clouds hang and how long the rain falls.

  • XPR™ 2.5-layer ripstop nylon with a microporous star-print coating shuns wind and rain and wicks moisture off your body
  • Seams are fully taped and the Torrent compresses down to easily fit in a pack
  • 2-way adjustable hood with welded brim cinches down for a close fit that provides unhindered peripheral vision
  • 2-way watertight front zipper with internal stormflap lets you adjust the fit, while the soft chin guard is easy on tender skin
  • Underarm zippers extend to wrists to allow cooling airflow as your activity level heats up
  • Adjustable rip-and-stick cuffs and hem drawcord seal in warmth
  • Mesh-lined hand pockets feature watertight zippers; internal zip security pocket includes an iPod® pocket and cord guide

          I purchased the Torrent in case of rain during a half-marathon walk. (Hoping by purchasing it, I was insuring sunny weather!). Did not need it on marathon day, but have used it around town and love the fit, the color ("shark"), the styling, and the protection. I wear an 8-10 and my size 10 fits great, would even be able to wear it over a sweatshirt. Hate rainy days, but if we have to have them, I'm glad I have this jacket. Fits true to size.

              I borrowed this jacket from my friend over the weekend on a VERY rainy portland weekend. It held up to all-day hiking and I didn't feel wet- nor did my under-sweatshirt get wet from all the rain. It's a great fit- feels good, moves with you, is lightweight, comfortable, stylish, etc. I layered it with a sweatshirt and inner shell on the inside and was warm and cozy and DRY. I didn't find myself sweating a lot in it- and in fact passed another girl wearing one at the outdoor fruit/vegetable market in the rain. I am very pleased and think I'll go purchase one of my own. p.s. My friend got it to wear in the rainforest as it is very lightweight and can breathe- her jacket performed well in those conditions as well.
