Comments about Sierra Designs Meteor Light 2 Tent:
I have had this tent for a few weeks now - and after doing quite a bit of research decided on the meteor light 2. Here is what I was looking for in a tent:
-larger footprint 2 person tent
-decent headroom
-Fairly lightweight
-3+ season tent - that was sturdy enough for some rough weather
-cheap price
So far I have used the tent 2 times on the Superior Hiking Trail in MN. Both times we ran into temperatures in the low teens with some steady 15-25mph winds. It sets up easily - and the unique pole structure gives plenty of room inside. With the footprint and a sleeping pad - condensation was no problem even camping on top of snow. Really-really excited to take it backpacking this summer.
