Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
Father of five kids this is a great and comfortable tent for camping with kids. I was able to set up cots and we had plenty of room for gear. I took this tent out to Estes National Park and endured high winds and several nights of rain. The tent stood up to the wins and remain water tight. Someone actually came up to the tent one morning because they were sure the storms would tear the tent up. This is quality great and worth the price.

Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
This is a great family tent, Perfect for camping with kids. We had more then enough room to set up our air mattress and store our gear. On one of our first camping trips we got caught up in this thunder storm. Not only did this tent stand up to 60mph winds but kept us completely dry as well. We are completely satisfied with the Quality of the tent. Worth every penny of the price

Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
A great family tent - lots of room, pockets for stashing gear, typical North Face quality, and ability to partition rooms. The ONLY issue I have is the tent takes a while to set up but that is because it is BIG. Once it is up, it is rock solid. Just be sure to set it up on a dry run before going out for real!

Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
Set this tent up in the rain for the first time, with two girls mind you, and it was almost completely dry inside once we got it set up. Good quality, waterproof, takes on high winds, awesome vestibule to store / get dry / take off shoes before entering the tent!
Then the tent went on sale - and REI being as awesome as it is, price matched the new lower price. Just cant beat that deal!
The only negative thing is the zippers on the vestibule. They are heavy duty, good quality. But they just wanna snag up the cover. It doesn't hurt anything, but it gets annoying always having to use two hands opening the vestibule zipper. There will never be a perfect tent~
Still a GREAT product. LOVE the tent.

Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
We just took this tent on two car camping adventures where it rained really hard. Ours was one of the only dry tents in our group of friends/tents. The rain fly goes all the way to the ground and really protects the tent from taking H2O. Also, the floor is factory taped (unlike cheap tents from box stores). Get the footprint also and you'll be in good shape for windy, rainy weather.

Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
We bought this tent this past Spring and have used it at least 5 times so far this camping season. This tent is sturdy, waterproof, easy to set-up, and has tons of room. The only con I see with it is that the fly can by difficult to put on. Other than that, it is perfect. If you are taking the family camping, there is no other tent to own.

Comments about The North Face Trailhead 8 Tent:
We love this tent. Easy to set up and lots of room for your gear. Only thing we don't like is it gets VERY HOT with the rainfly on! The rainfly is staked into the ground so, it is a little bit of a hassle to remove it during the day and put it on at night. Would rather be hot than WET. Also like the vestibule area. Great place to put things when it rains.
