The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
It's a jolt to pay this much for a "small" flashlight, but the performance is so astonishingly good, I quickly forgot the cost. This is a fantastically built, consistent, reliable, small-enough-to-be-pocketable flashlight with outstanding battery life -- 100 hrs. or so on low, which is fine for most close work. On high, it throws a powerful and flicker-free beam that's more than enough to light up a trail, campsite, work area, or backyard. The smaller, 1-batter version (the E1L) is equally good, and light enough to clip to the visor of a baseball cap. Just an all-around fantastic tool.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
This is probably the toughest flashlight out there. I've found if you get into a defensive position at night, a sudden bright blast from this light will put you into an offensive position instantly.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
I use this light just about everyday and I have had it for over a year, prior to owning this light I had the SureFire 6P which too was amazing although I lost it. I put both of these lights though some tough times and they don't quit working they are made of solid aluminum and can take a beaten, I have dropped them, smashed them, used them as a hammer even and the light still works. I know they are expensive this is one of those true "you get what you pay for" tools I will never buy another brand of flashlight again Thank you
SureFire for making a quality product!

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
Flashlight started malfunctioning after one month. This will be returned. I own more than 6 Surefire flashlights. Most of the others are an excellent product if you don't mind spending top dollar for them.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
I had a friend turn me onto SureFire flashlights years ago. But once incandescent bulbs were replaced with LED, they fell behind. Not only do their prices continue to go up, but their technology is falling behind. I gave my E2 to my son because the Fenix I bought was brighter, had more functions and lasted longer. i actually bought 2 for less than I paid for my last SureFire. Now I have one in the Truck and one in the house.
SureFire needs to update and cre-price, they are losing market share.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
If you haven't tried LED flashlights in a while, now is the time to see what they were intended to do. The E2L outdoorsman is an outstanding companion in any low light situation. The light beam is focused and illuminates objects much farther than a standard palm flashlight. The E2L has an incredible battery life on 2 Lithium batteries.
I received this flashlight as a gift two years ago and have used it countless hours so far. Camping, hiking, general travel, hotels, power outages, all four seasons, et cetera.
Get a lanyard for this if you are going to use it where dropping it means loosing it. You will be heartbroken. Also, always have spare batteries available. LEDs do not noticeably dim like standard flashlights. When the juice runs out the light goes off.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
I debated buying this for a couple of months reading reviews of approximately 5 flash lights. I just could not think of spending that kind of money on a light well I broke down and said screw it I am buying one. That was about 1.5 months ago and I have yet to change the batteries. I use this daily and carry it everywhere its been dunked under water, sprayed with mud, beat, dropped, and it does not have a single scratch on it anywhere. I am thinking of even buying one to keep in the car. I will never buy another brand of flashlight if you want something that will hold up go with a SureFire

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
This is a great light. I've had this light for 4 months and have been using it on deployment for the pass 2 months on the same set of batteries. The low light is great for reading, inspecting and walking around. The high beam is great to illuminate a target at some distance.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
I was not that excited to spend this much money on a flashlight but do not regret it all. I have had this for roughly two years and use it often. The beam is focused for use outdoors. Often times Surefires are bright but with a broad beam, useful for clearing rooms in a tactical situation.
This light has held up to everything I have thrown at it. It is bright, light, and compact. If this every goes out I will get another immediately.

Comments about SureFire E2L LED Flashlight:
I am a Search and Rescue volunteer for 7 years now and own a construction business. I used to go through 3 lights every year due to water and dust infiltration (ruined internal working of the lights) I carried the L2 for 2 years until I got the E2L. I have carried it every day. It always works. I do not need the high power as a rule so I typically use the low power level.
