      I've been looking for lightweight shorts to wear hiking in the desert heat, and these are perfect! So lightweight and well-fitting that I barely know I have them on. I like that the cargo pockets are flat to the short leg and not bellowing out.

      I'm buying another pair ASAP. You know they're the right ones when you have a pile of 8 shorts in your closet to pick from and keep going for these. I don't know if I can ever wear cotton cargo shorts again! I'm a 32 waist and the medium is a perfect fit.

      I was looking for a pair of nylon shorts for running and hiking. I've found that nylon lasts a long time and doesn't wear out between the legs. Inseam is also just right. I suggest wearing a pair of lycra liners about the same inseam. Since belt isn't that good, buy a nylon belt of your choice.

        I've tried many hiking shorts over the years, but these are my favorite, by far. They are comfortable, well constructed, durable, lightweight, and wick/dry almost instantly. Basically, they are everything I could ask for in a pair of shorts for outdoor use.

          Wore two pairs, in different colors, on my annual hiking trip in the Alps, and my wife actually said that my hiking shorts looked great.
