    I've used these bottoms for Ski Touring, and Mountaineering. You really dont need extra bulk around you ankles when your wearing ski boots/or any boot that has a cuff. So this bottom fit perfectly. It's not as thick as regular power stretch. So you wont overheat if you are constantly on the go.
