This synthetic REI bag balances price and performance—light, compressible insulation and unique construction work together to maximize warmth when the temperature dips.

  • REI-exclusive Z-Baffle construction combines 2 insulations that together maximize heat retention far more efficiently than a single insulation
  • Synthetic polyester fill retains insulating properties even when wet

Comments about REI Zen +25 Sleeping Bag - Long:

I primarily use this bag for car camping, although I've done a little backpacking with it. You could go cheaper and you could go way more expensive, but this bag seems to give you a lot of quality for a reasonable price. One feature I really like is the heavy nylon reinforcement that runs the length of the bag parallel to the zipper; you wont ever tear through the outer shell with zipper and it really reduces snags. A compression sack would have been a great addition to this product and would have made it a little better for backpacking.
