      I was just looking for a basic water bottle of good quality and this is it. The mouth is a bit wide, so if you have a smallish mouth you might want to go a different route. The lid fits tight and easily attaches to a carabiner. It's very lightweight but very touch. I can't dent it trying as hard as I can with my hands. Overall, it's basic, but solid.

          I have this bottle. The mouth is made of plastic covering the stainless. It retains water where the plastic meets the stainless. It doesn't clean well at that junction and grows funk. I really wanted to like this bottle but now I don't use it for that reason.

          As others have said, this has a wide mouth and retains liquid around the threads. It hasn't leaked while closed, but does get messy when I'm drinking directly from it. You can buy an insert to make the opening smaller, but that doesn't help the beverage that collects around the threads and drips when you're drinking.

          I do like the size, and the fact that it's dishwasher safe; I use it primarily to bring flavored/sweetened/etc beverages to work. It holds as much iced tea as I'll drink all day and keeps it nice and cold. It also fits in the car cup-holder, though I wouldn't drink from it while driving due to spillage.

          I recommend it with those reservations. I wouldn't buy it at full price, but it's a good deal at the sale price.
