    Comments about Gerber DF6 Compact Sharpener:

    I recently purchased this much needed item and I couldn't be happier! This sharpener has honed 4 of my knifes to a perfect, razor sharp edge in no time! It has sharpened everything from my swiss army knife to my 1926 case hunting knife as well as my gerber axe head with nothing more than a few easy strokes! Plus it collapses quickly into a super light-weight portable/packable rectangle!

    Now to be certain this sharpener is not to be used with notched or serrated blades. Also, the soft, rubbery plastic exterior casing will mar if you drag a sharp blade across it (though, this marring is avoidable by practicing proper sharpening technique).

    Overall, if you are looking for an excellent, hassle-proof and packable way to sharpen your standard blades, this is the sharpener for you!
