This is a durable basket, holding up to 11 pounds. It's perfect for taking my Yorkie for rides, picking up a couple of bottles of wine, and toting library books back and forth. The fact that it slips easily on and off its mounting is a real plus - you just snap it off and take it with you! If it were a richer, golden brown, it would be perfect.

I purchased this basket for my Electra Daisy cruiser bicycle and it works wonderfully. I'm able to throw my purse in the basket, a water bottle, a bag of "stuff" or any number of additional items. The biggest drawback is the fact that it has a 10 lb weight limit, so even though it's a pretty large basket, one has to be careful with the weight of items. Even overloaded though, the basket hasn't fallen apart, it just makes the bicycle front heavy when it's parked. The basket tilts front and back, so you can lift it higher if needed, and it also is easily removed for carrying around stores or wherever it's needed. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating was due to the weight limit... but, the reality is one probably shouldn't be hauling more than that around anyway.

I bought this basket to attach to my cruiser bicycle. I wanted something in the front of my bike so that I could see it and have easy access to it when I am stopped, but also looked cute. The basket was very easy to attach. Riding around on pot hole filled streets my stuff inside bounced around a bit but the basket remained securely in place. The basket was also nice to use to carry my helmet when off my bike.
