The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
I recently started competing in triathlons, and bought my first road bike, after years of mountain bike riding. i looked for a good cycle computer, and this is it.
The double wireless system (speed & cadence) is great - easy to read and install. having no wires is really great! It did take some configuration to get the diameter of my tires right, since 700x26 is not a default measurement, but this was simple enough. I considered paying more for the next model up, which has average cadence too, but i don't really care about that (since coasting downhill would affect the number). knowing my cadence at a point it time was all i needed. the data stored is very useful too.
i would definitely consider purchasing again.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
I used my member discount on this item because it was a little pricier than other options. But it's wireless and has both cadence and speed. Knowing your Cadence is a huge deal. When buying a bike computer, [...] I've used junk wired ones in the past. I think this product is great because it does everything I wanted in a small package. It tells speed at all times displayed as a big number at the top. By pressing the unit you can cycle through a clock, Distance 1, Distance 2, Stopwatch, Cadence, Odometer, and Average Speed; which are displayed in a smaller number at the bottom. You can reset it by clicking twice fast. I like that the click button is really easy to press. All you have to do is tap the unit lightly and it's enough to change the function that's displayed. Good for when you're getting really tired. Oh, it also has a top speed history too. I just think this thing is loaded with features for the price. I have not had a single problem with the wireless feature since I started using it. It goes into sleep mode by itself when I'm not using it, and it only comes out of sleep mode when you tap the unit on. That way it doesn't turn on and waste battery if I'm only gonna ride a 1/2 mile or something. It's the best thing out there IMHO, short of a GPS on your bike, but I wasn't really going for a big GPS unit. I wanted something small and functional for my bike. I hope mine holds up a long time because it would be tough to find one that does all this one can at the price. If I had to say one bad thing about it, it would be that they don't include a mounting where you can mount it right on the stem of your bike. You have to buy it seperatly. Kinda stupid. As if I'm gonna send away for it now. They should just include both options. To their credit, the handlebar mount they did include works just fine.If you're on the edge about this one, go for it. I don't think it will disappoint.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
My original Cate Eye Strada Wireless's battery is dying but rather than trying to replace the battery I figured after two years of Great service, it was time to replace it with one that would offer me the one thing the original Strada lacked which was Cadence.
Taking the specs from the original Strada, programing the new one was a snap and the handlebar mount is the same, this being the case half the installation was done before even taking it out of the box.
Installing the sensor was easy, just align up the two magnets and tighten up the zip ties. Really really simple.
The display is very easy to view and read and what I like about the Cat Eye's is the fact that switching to different views/readouts is as easy as touching the unit itself...even with gloves on.
If you have owned the original Cat Eye Strada Wireless computer you will like this as well, it is a logical step up.
Buying it from REI was once again a painless enjoyable experience and if you dont like it, it breaks or cant install it correctly (for some strange reason) you can always return it, no questions asked.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
I got this computer to replace my wired computer. I wanted a wireless computer with cadence. I found this and picked it up. The computer has worked flawlessly so far.
I love the cadence and that it has two trip odometers.
The secondary reading is a little small, but I don't really stare at the computer when I ride. If you do, then focus on your ride and not the computer. =)

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
I use this computer for my commute to work and also for pleasure. Set-up was relatively easy and took me about 30 minutes total. I am very pleased about the ease of use with this bike computer. I have tried Sigma before with inconsistent results. Cateye works every time I start it from sleep mode.
The one touch button idea is brilliant! This way you are concentrating on riding and searching for a small button. If you want to reset your data in a specific mode, you hold down the display for a few seconds and everything will 'zero' out.
My only gripes are that the display is small like others have said. I have also noticed my speed display goes in and out. Sometimes it will read 15mph and the next time I look at it, it's reading 0mph. Sort of annoying but the read out always pop's back up after a few seconds.
Overall I would say this bike computer is reliable and I am happy with this purchase.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
After wasting $30 on a WIRED bike computer (also a CE)I decided to spend a little more for a wireless one--and this one is MUCH better! Installation was simple, (compared to trying to maneuver wired sensors to a 3mm gap!)and it worked great! No complaints--except I didn't get any nylon zip-ties in my package, and they are a MUST for mounting the sensor unit to the lower rail--I had to buy others.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
Put the small parts in a bowl till you need them. The mode button is used to change the digit, then you hold it down to jump to the next digit on the wheel size setup. The directions are in Engrish, which means they are written fairly poorly for comprehension. They include pictures but when will manufacturers realize that including eight different languages to all isn't better, just confusing. The battery is already in the sensor, what looks like a battery is actually the magnets for the crank and the spoke. If you try to open the battery door on the sensor, use the biggest screwdriver you can find. Trying to use a quarter will just mar the surface. Turn to the left to open it up, then you must use a really small screwdriver to pop that battery door off. The sensors are installed on the spoke and the crank and they want a 3 and 5 millimeter separation. Good luck on the exact measurement. The whole sensor thing just looks scary close to my shoe coming round and the wheel! Zip tieing the whole thing together after that seems like something that would be done on a prototype rather than the actual production units.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
I ride every day and wanted something with cadence and a clock. The upper readout is legible but it is speed only. The lower readout is all the other functions and about 1/4 inch in height and not many pixels wide. The faceplate is glossy and hard to see. I use only reading and computer glasses. With a stem mount, I have to move my head to get my line of sight parallel to the faceplate, take my eyes off the road, and focus, to barely see the cadence readout. I usually only get the first digit. It might be better on the handlebar as i might be able to get the angle correct in a normal riding position. As a software engineer with a UI background, I just dont see why they chose to make the readouts so small in relation to the available interface area and why i cant put a non-speed function (cadence) on the upper readout. Seems like bad design.I suggest that you read the non-rei reviews as well. The wheelspeed sensor does not fit as designed on modern curved chainstays (Specialized Roubaix SL2). You have to flip it up and i am concerned that it will get knocked into the spokes. It looks like some sort of dorky plastic origami swan.If i cant find some sort of stick-on magnifier for the lower readout, this thing is going back to rei or on[...]

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
Very unreliable. Purchased a unit on 9/26/11. First ride the unit worked fine. Second and third rides it worked intermittently - dropping thirty minutes during a two hour ride. Replaced with a second unit on 9/30/11. First ride the unit worked fine. Next three rides it worked intermittently - dropping thirty minutes to one hour. My previous Cateye, wired, worked fine for 40,000 miles. I have gone back to a wired unit. Not as clean looking but at least it is dependable.

Comments about Cat Eye Strada Double Wireless Bike Computer:
I am just getting back into biking and needed a computer with basic features plus cadence. The unit is easy to install (see tip for modern bikes below) and to operate. The Cateye website has a video tutorial that I found useful before starting.
My wife has a Specialized Ruby and there isn't room for the sensor and magnet on the left side as suggested. I tried a tip from an online biking forum and mounted the magnet on the FAR spoke within a few inches of the rim. This allowed me to mount the speed sensor as designed facing down. It's worked fine for me so far.
