Comments about Atlas 927 Elektra Snowshoes - Women's:
While I have done downhill and cross country skiing, this is my first experience on snowshoes. It was easy! I loved it right away. They are nice and light, and easy to use. They are narrower than many others which makes them easy to walk in. Entry was a little hard at first, but I soon got used to it. They worked well on packed and powder snow. You get a great workout, especially on deep fresh snow. What a great way to exercise and view nature.

Comments about Atlas 927 Elektra Snowshoes - Women's:
I got these for Christmas, and right off the bat they were completely simple to use -- easy on and off, very stable feeling, highly maneuverable. I started small, running around the backyard with our dog, who also likes them. I don't know what the other reviewer found hard about getting these on/off; you just stick your boot (Uggs, even!) onto the place where the snowshoe says "Ball of Foot," make sure the heel strap is looped around the back of your boot, then pull up on the straps until you're snug as a bug in a rug. Then off you go! I've worn them twice and plan to take them out to a big forest preserve tomorrow. Note: You'll want to buy telescoping poles, too -- especially if you'll be on hills. Great workout and FUN!

Comments about Atlas 927 Elektra Snowshoes - Women's:
I was very disappointed with these snowshoes. They are difficult to put on wearing big snow boots. They worked wonderfully while walking, were lightweight and stable, but the straps do not stay in place. I had to keep stopping and tightening them every 10 minutes or so. I was on a packed trail on flat terrain. I can't imagine what would happen on a mountainside. I'm taking them back.
