Not sure a/b the other reviews above stating they've owned this bottle for a year or more since this new non-BPA Tritan bottle JUST came out. Anywho, I went to REI to replace my old #7 Nalgene. I saw 2 new BPA-free bottles on the shelf, one by Camelbak and this new one by Nalgene. The "Made in China" sticker on the Camelbak was a deal breaker for me. For the price, I was willing to try Nalgene's new "On the Go" Tritan bottle. Having used it frequently for the past week (over a gal/day) in multiple situations (outside, at the gym, on my mtb and motorcycle, etc), I can say that I'm quite impressed. Easy to handle, clean, and refill. The only weakness I see is the flip cap *might* be vunerable to break with a side impact if it landed just right (er, wrong). Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, in fact, I plan to do so.

This is the best water bottle I've ever owned. Good opening allows for quick slugs while biking or working out. Good capacity, and not too wide. Nice design. Easy to wash. Easy to open. Here is a tip: don't open it by snapping it open, instead gently squeeze the top and pull it open easily. I think this will save wear on the snap closure.

I wanted a bottle that I could take in the car with me and this one is perfect. The narrow opening means I'm not wearing the water if I hit a bump. The snap open lid means I don't need to use 2 hands to unscrew a cap. Plus, the slim design actually fits in my cup holder - no more spilling because I had to put the bottle on the seat beside me. I love it!

Works well, no leaks. The flip-top looks like it would break with a sideways impact. I avoid sideways impacts. The lip of the drinking orifice has a slightly sharp edge, could cause minor lip abrasions if you don't use it carefully. Or, you could just scrape/sand it a little - but that could cause leaks. I just live with it and I'm careful.

I use this bottle daily for water, but mix flavor packets as well.

Reasons to buy this product: I bought it to reduce my use of disposable water bottles. I get more fluids. I drink less soda. It fits in my car cup holders, and my bike bottle holder.

The best and worse thing about the bottle is the lid. It's great b/c it opens easily, is the right size for drinking, and keeps the top closed for accidental tip overs or for keeping things out. It's not so good b/c it opens a little too easily. However, the Nalgene website specifies that the lid is not spill-proof, and it's not a good idea to put it in a bag. If you aware of this when you buy the product, you are getting an excellent product for daily use.

I have five of these bottles and they're great! The other reviews say that the bottle leaks, but mine has only leaked once, through my own fault. I didn't tighten the cap and accidentally spilled some water. Other than that, I always carry it in my purse and not even a drop is splashed. I have even dropped the bottle a couple of times on concrete and the bottle is pretty sturdy. No dents or scratches to the naked eye. This bottle is a must have!

I bought this bottle for many reasons, and it has delivered. One (and most importantly), the mouthpiece you drink from is mostly covered, keeping it clean on the trail and in the office. Two, it is slim enough to fit in the cup holder of my car. Three, it's a good looking bottle and the blue color gives you the feeling that your water looks pure and clean. Four, the small mouthpiece is easy to drink from for me. Five, it's BPA free. Six, it's light weight. For all the critics out there, it does leak if it doesn't stay standing up relatively straight, so just don't throw it in a bag, and it's not insulated, but it really is a great water bottle.

I have owned this bottle for over a year, and I use it almost every day. I bought it for use in the office to drink water. I work in computer labs, and we're only allowed to have drinks in spillproof containers. This does the job. What I like about the size is that it fits my car's cup holder and fits in the side of my backpack. I use a carabinger to secure it to my backpack. My only complaint is that after constant use, the lid has started becoming a little lose, so I need to take extra caution to ensure it has been tightly closed.

I have two of these and take them everywhere. I have a larger Nalgene with a screw top for backpacking, but I use this one everyday. No more throw away bottles.
