Comments about DaKine Heli-Pro Pack:
My two oldest kids each have one and they swear by them. They do not use lockers so carry everything in their backpacks. Because of the design of these backpacks they do not have problems with their backs or even feel that the backpacks weigh as much as they do.

Comments about DaKine Heli-Pro Pack:
I bought this last Christmas for alpine skiing at the resorts. You can carry all your gear with you. I packed extra gloves water and layers if you think it will freeze later. You can attach the skis to make it easy to get from the parking lot. on the mountain it is balanced and comfortable and the camera pouch is perfect. Only thing missing is an IPOD slot on the straps.. it would be perfect.

Comments about DaKine Heli-Pro Pack:
This pack is perfect for what it was made for which is snowboarding/skiing or day hikes etc. It's slender and contours your back like you want it to be, but has plenty enough room for whatever you need to pack with you for a day out on your board or on a nice hike. I love how perfectly the camelback fits inside and the tube comes through the shoulder strap. I love the camera pocket on the waist belt. They really thought of everything useful and integrated it into this pack. Plus it comes in an assortment of styles/colors. I recently used this for day hikes in Moab, UT and it's so light and comfortable on your shoulders even when not using the waist or chest belt.
